Have you forgot your user account password

If you forgot your user account password pass word
No problem. Here is a solution.
(This works only when there is no password for Administrator account).
Start windows in Safe mode. (while booting press F8 to start in safe mode)
While entering into the windows it shows
Administrator account
Your account
Click on administrator account
Then you can enter into windows in safe mode
Go to control panel
Open user accounts
Click up on your account
Clik on “remove password”
Reboot windows.
Then you can enter into Your account without password.
It is only one method of troubleshooting. Don’t do this on other’s system.

Key Loggers


Long ago a buddy of mine came up to me and told how he received a mail that had the password of his email account!

Like a typical tech guy, I immediately replied his computer may have been infected with password stealing viruses, trojans or key loggers. But in fact, he had a pretty good anti-virus with the latest updates and no harmful programs were found in his computer.So how did that email contain his password? Was the account hacked?

It became very clear after he said who had sent that mail! Apparently, the email was a spam mail sent from a third-party website (let's take xyz.com as an example), where he had registered as a user. The answer was right there!While registering at xyz.com, he had used his Yahoo email id as his username at xyz.com and used the same Yahoo! Mail email account's password as the password for xyz.com.So now, xyz.com had both his email Id and password. The user had disclosed his email id and password, although unintentionally.What to do if I have committed this mistake?

Can this be considered a mistake in the first place? Oh yes! It should be when you have a lot at stake (personal mails, business plans..etc) in your email inbox. Moreover, there are thousands of new websites popping out each day only to disappear weeks later. Always better to be safe than sorry.The very first thing one can do is to :
Change the email password immediately.
Always keep a separate username and password for registering at other sites.
Use the secret Question & Answer password recovery option for your email, in case someone changes your email password. Many still don't use it. This will only work if the person who logged into your account didn't change the secret answer.

Learning How to Build a Computer

There are three primary methods of learning to build your own computer:
(1) the classroom,
(2) from a website, or
(3) a how-to book. Let’s look at the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Learning in a classroom setting is the time honored way for knowledge to be passed on. While PC building techniques are usually taught as part of electronics courses at your local community college, sometimes adult learning classes will be devoted to the subject as well.

Classrooms provide a structured framework, giving you hands on training with an instructor there to guide you and answer questions. The drawbacks are that you are usually placed in a group of five or six people, where one or two try to hog all the “hands on” time, and constantly ask the instructor questions designed to show how much they know, rather than shining any light on the process. Also, the classes can sometimes be quite expensive.

Websites devoted to the subject offer free information, and occasionally advice in the form of chat rooms and bulletin boards. If you decide to take this route, be aware that some websites are right up to date, and others are “cobweb” sites, posted years ago.

The instruction online can vary from good to incompetent, and it can be hard for the first time computer builder to know the difference. I recommend judging the quality of the writing itself. If the points they’re trying to make aren’t clear, go to another source.

How-to books are a low cost alternative, with a higher caliber of writing and instruction, prepared by professionals. You’d probably be required to purchase one of these if you took a class. Unlike the classroom, you can absorb the material at your own pace, and whenever you have the time.

It will require initiative, because there’ll be no one there to set goals for you, or require you to take a weekly quiz. The subject itself is so fascinating however, that I believe you’ll have no problem motivating yourself.

How to Improve Your Typing Speed

Typing is a skill that I never took the time to learn in high school. I never thought I'd need it. As an adult, I have found that typing is a necessity. For an at-home business like medical transcription, typing well and accurately could mean the difference between an average business and ever-increasing profits. This article gives suggestions for those who have lived with the "hunt and peck" method most of their lives and people who have been taught how to type but want to increase their speed and accuracy.

For those of you, like myself, who have grown frustrated with how long it takes you to type a document, now is the time to learn the proper technique. I must warn you: it will be a challenge. Your brain and your hands have grown accustomed to typing the wrong way. The one problem with learning a bad habit is that you have to unlearn it.

To improve your typing speed, invest in typing tutor software. These programs teach keyboard and number pad memorization. Learning proper finger placement on the "home row" is essential to typing success. With the proper foundation your typing speed will increase.

Two programs on the market today are MacMillan Typing Tutor 9 for the PC and Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing 17 for PC and MAC. I learned how to type properly using Mavis Beacon software. The program takes you through the basic principles of typing, using fun games and timed tests at every level to increase speed and accuracy. Once a particular level is mastered the program allows you to move on to the next.

For those who need a refresher course to increase typing speed, online services are available to assist you. The key to your success is practice, practice, and more practice. Typing speed tests to increase your speed are available free on the Web. You are given a sample paragraph to type. Once you are done and hit "submit", the speed and accuracy of your work are translated into WPM (words per minute). You can practice with as many paragraph samples as you want.

A key to success in a typing dependent business it to increase your speed. No matter which category you fall into, consistent practice will determine how much your typing speed will increase. Once success is achieved, a monthly practice session or two wouldn't hurt to keep up your skills.

Preparing Hard drive to move to another computer

To remove the devices from device manager when taking a HD from one computer to another,
simply:

1. Run Regedit
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ and delete the Enum section
3. This removes all of the hardware specific settings

Changing location of special folders

You can modify the registry to change the location of special folders like:

* My Documents
* Favorites
* My Pictures
* Personal

1. Start Regedit
2. Goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software \Microsoft \Windows \CurrentVersion \Explorer \User Shell Folders
3. Double click on any locations you want to change and alter the path
4. Logoff or restart for the changes to go into effect

Preventing changes to file associations

You can prevent users from changing associations via Windows Explorer's Tools / Folder Options / File Types tab.

1. Start Regedit
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explore
3. Create REG_DWORD data type NoFileAssociate
4. Give it a value of 1

Something about registry

The Windows Registry is a database where all the information about your computer is stored. Everything from colors, installed applications, or changes you make in Control Panel, are included in the Registry database.

If you want to extend the customization of Windows, you'll need to understand the Registry, and how it works.

It is possible to break Windows by changing the Registry. Any changes you make should be done with caution. If you take the simple step of making a backup copy of the Registry, you virtually eliminate the possibility of disaster. This is explained in detail in another chapter. What can VoIP do for you?

Who wouldn't want to pay less for their phone service? That's just one of the advantages VoIP can offer. It helps to understand what the technology is, how it works and how proper planning makes all the difference between success and failure.

According to a recent study only 12 percent of the people surveyed were familiar with the concept of VoIP. Of those that knew it related to some type of phone service, even fewer understood how it actually worked. Given those statistics, now seems like good time for a quick overview of VoIP and how it relates to your network.

In this article we'll focus more on VoIP in a small business environment as opposed to those specific to a home user. However, the majority of this discussion applies to both.

Let's begin with something important to all small business owner — money. Consider this, a report published by TeleNomic Research reports that small businesses (companies with fewer than 500 employees) spend on average $543.17 per month for telecommunications services; 89 percent of which are for local, long distance and wireless telephone services.

Yet high telephone bills are only one aspect of the expenses small business owners face when it comes to their telecommunication systems. Traditional telephone systems are typically difficult to manage and support. They require their own communication lines, custom hardware, and usually a special support team. Just adding or removing a single user could cost hundreds of dollars. Not to mention the cost of adding additional extensions.

There was a time when you had no choice but to pay these prices simply because you couldn't get these services anywhere else. Today, though, you have more options. Imagine a local phone number that followed you anywhere. Take a VoIP phone on the road, and you can place or receive calls from almost anywhere as if you were sitting at your desk. Since your phone number is mobile you can make "local" calls back home or call around the globe without worrying about cell phone roaming or hotel surcharges.
Key Terms To Understanding VoIP for Business:

VoIP
Short for Voice over Internet Protocol, a category of hardware and software that enables people to use the Internet as the transmission medium for telephone calls.

TCP/IP
Short for Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, the suite of communications protocols used to connect hosts on the Internet.

PSTN
Short for Public Switched Telephone Network, which refers to the international telephone system based on copper wires carrying analog voice data.

telephony
The science of translating sound into electrical signals, transmitting them, and then converting them back to sound; that is, the science of telephones.

Also, imagine getting your phone messages forwarded to your notebook as e-mail attachments. Think of how helpful it would he to archive phone messages and conversations (with the other party's consent, of course) as electronic files on your computer. And consider if this came with great features like call waiting/forwarding, voicemail and three-way calling at no extra charge. That is what VoIP can do for you.

VoIP allows you to make telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of using a regular analog phone line. Some services using VoIP may allow you to call only other people using the same service, but other services will allow you to call anyone who has a telephone number — including local, long distance, mobile, and international numbers. Also, while some services work only over your computer or a special VoIP phone, still, other services allow you to use a traditional phone through an adaptor.

How VoIP Works
VoIP is a collection of digitally encrypted voice transmissions that are carried over a network based on a single common language, or protocol — in this case, the Internet Protocol TCP/IP. VoIP converts the voice signal from your telephone into a digital signal that travels over the Internet and is then converted back at the other end, so you can speak to anyone with a regular phone number. When placing a VoIP call using a phone with an adapter, you'll hear a dial tone and dial just as you always have. VoIP may also allow you to make a call directly from a computer using a conventional telephone or a microphone.

VoIP works as a peer-to-peer application, entailing handshaking and direct media exchange between two IP devices,. To call someone, the user dials the telephone number, the handset translates that number into IP address format (e.g., 123.456.11.22), and the device sends encrypted data packets whose payloads contain messages conforming to a particular call-setup protocol between the two devices. They then establish a common connection for voice exchange. Their device rings, they pick up, and media packets flow in both directions.

To better understand how VoIP works, it's helpful to compare it to how conventional phone calls operate. When you place a "regular" phone call using the Public Switched Telephone Network or PSTN (also known as POTS, for Plain Old Telephone Service) it's known as a circuit-switched telephony, because it sets up a dedicated connection between two points for the duration of the call.

VoIP, on the other hand, is known as packet-switched telephony, because the voice information travels to its destination in countless individual network packets across the Internet. This type of communication presents special TCP/IP challenges because the Internet wasn't really designed for the kind of real-time communication a phone call represents. Individual packets may — and almost always do — take different paths to the same place. It's not enough to simply get VoIP packets to their destination. The packets must arrive in a fairly narrow time window and be assembled in the correct order to be intelligible to the recipient.

To improve performance, VoIP employs encoding schemes and compression technology to reduce the size of the voice packets so they can be transmitted more efficiently. Audio signals are also digitally processed in order to accentuate the voice information and suppress background noise. To conserve bandwidth, VoIP systems stop transmitting during lulls in a conversation and even generate some "comfort noise" to forestall the eerie silence that might make you think the call was disconnected.

VoIP uses a number of compression standards that offer different balances between packet size and audio quality. Generally speaking, the higher the compression the more simultaneous calls you can have, but the lower voice quality will be.

Despite all of the advantages of a VoIP system, it does have its drawbacks. For instance, some VoIP services will not work during power outages and the service provider may not offer any type of back-up power solution. Many VoIP providers may not offer directory assistance or white pages listings which is essential to the small business.

Preparing for VoIP
The key to success with VoIP ultimately comes down to proper planning. The scope of a VoIP implementation can vary according to an organization's needs and desires, ranging from the relatively straightforward - using VoIP for local and long-distance calls or to communicate between a company's multiple offices - to more complex deployments like call centers.

In most cases, saving money immediately with VoIP won't require you to purchase any additional phone equipment or jettison what you already have, because devices called media gateways let conventional phone equipment (ranging from individual phones to an entire PBX) interface with your Internet connection. Taking advantage of VoIP's most cutting-edge features (like the ability to have your calls follow you as you travel) typically require specialized VoIP phones or other equipment and/or a hosted PBX service.

Preventive Maintanance tips for your PC




The average PC user doesn't think much about problems that can occur with a computer until a problem actually occurs. Once a failure happens, the repairs can be both costly and time-consuming. The good news is that there are some preventive measures that you can take to decrease the likelihood of running into problems with the computer's smooth and efficient operation and also to lessen any damage that does occur despite best efforts to avoid failures.


Computer failures occur for a variety of reasons, sometimes because of human error and sometimes because of factors in the environment that cause a computer to malfunction — or a combination of both. These factors can include excessive buildup of dust, heat or magnetism; viruses picked up from the Internet or from storage media shared between different computers; static electricity shocks or power surges; carelessness, such as spilling liquids into a computer or bumping or dropping the hard drive casing; software that has not been configured correctly or a PC's setup that has been handled incorrectly, such as incorrect handling of updates.


The following tips will serve as a basic guideline to keep your PC maintained to run efficiently, increase component lifespan and also will help lessen the likelihood of PC failure:


Operating & Environment Conditions


* Do not place a PC directly near a heating or cooling source, such as heating vents or air conditioners. Both excessive heat and cold can damage a PC. This includes putting the PC in the path of direct sunlight.
* Manufacturers often recommend that PCs be in a humidity-controlled environment, but again the PC should not be positioned so that an air conditioner is blowing cool air directly onto the unit (as temperature drops, the likelihood of static electricity increases).
* Keep the PC's air vents and fans unobstructed and free of dust.
* Do not smoke around a PC. Cigarette smoke can damage exposed metal contacts.
* Do not place a PC near water sources that can splash onto the components or drip down into them. This includes open windows through which rain can come and also under plants than can drip water down into them.
* Do not connect power sources directly into wall outlets but rather connect them first to some form of surge protector. Surge protectors prevent electrical surges from destroying hard drives and erasing data.
* Buildup of dust can seriously hamper a PC's capability to cool down, and even if you never open your computer's case dust can still get in through the drive openings. Dust also compromises the lifespan of your PC's hardware. An efficient way to clean dust from the inside of a computer is with compressed air, blowing dust away from the motherboard and other components. You should never blow air directly into a floppy drive as this can cause dust to lodge in the drive and cause it to malfunction. Users who are not familiar with working inside a computer case should take the unit to a professional for cleaning because it is possible to do more harm than good to a computer if you do not know how to safely work inside of a case.
* Always turn off and unplug the system before you clean any of the components inside the case. It is also important to ground yourself to prevent static electricity discharge before touching any components inside.
* Be extremely careful when moving a PC from one location to another. Even small jolts can dislodge chips and expansion boards, so be sure to power off the system before moving it — even if it's only going from one side of your desk to another.
* Save all documentation that comes with your PC and its components. You may need to refer to the documentation if something goes wrong.
* Always shut your system down properly (in Windows use the Start --> Shutdown method) whenever possible. It is also important to respond to warnings and error messages to prevent possible data loss or corruption.

Operating System & Data Maintenance

* Always ensure you have downloaded and installed the latest patches and service updates for your operating system, especially on a Windows-based PC. These updates will fix bugs and security exploits.
* Keep the root directory organized. Only keep your system's startup and software initialization files in the root directory. Application files and their data belong in a separate directory from the root directory.
* Do not store data files in the same directory that you store the software. This will eliminate the possibility of accidentally erasing or overwriting a software file.
* Keep a set of backup rescue disks for the.
* Keep meticulous records of default settings, any changes you make in a system's CMOS setup that differ from the default settings, and any maintenance you perform on the system. You can often use this record to backtrack when you are troubleshooting a problem and will become valuable if you decide to upgrade any of the system's components. It is also possible for the CMOS to lose settings and you will want a record of the setup to reconstruct it.
* Keep backup copies of any important data on a removable medium. Hard drives can fail and having important data on more than one medium can save a lot of stress and headaches.
* If possible use a secondary hard drive in your system for saving files. Your main drive, which is accessed more frequently is prone to mechanical drive failure sooner than your less frequently accessed secondary hard drive would be.
* Over time when you add and remove software, devices and drives, you'll be left with extraneous system registry entries, which can lead to slower performance. You can use system utilities (purchased or good shareware) that will help you keep your Windows system registry cleaned.

Hardware & Hard Drive Maintenance

* Keep records of any expansion cards you install and the procedures you follow to install them.
* Windows has a disk clean up function which will remove temporary files created by programs. This can free up additional hard drive space.
* Defrag your hard drives. A PC runs better with regular disk Defrag. Defragging your hard drive organizes your hard drive so that access to files and programs is more efficient.
* If you are using a trackball mouse be sure to frequently clean the rollers inside to keep the mouse moving smoothly.
* Clean your CRT monitor with standard glass cleaner and a lint free cloth. Be sure to spray the cloth with cleaner and then wipe — do not spray cleaner directly on the monitor.
* Most LCD displays can be cleaned with isopropyl. However, you should check your manual for the manufacturer's cleaning recommendations.
* Extend the lifespan of your computer monitor by shutting it off when not in use.
* Be sure to update drivers and software for your expansion cards, such as video or sound cards. By using updated drivers your hardware usually will run better.








To access built-in Windows tools for disk clean-up and Defrag,
right click on the drive in your Windows Explorer and choose 'properties' to access.
Software Maintenance

* Keep a backup copy of original software, either on CD or DVD. This type of software copying is perfectly legal.
* Be wary of installing file sharing and other peer-to-peer software as they represent a security risk to your PC. While the software itself may very well be virus-free and not represent a security risk, sharing your files and downloading other users' files can be.
* Purge your software. Getting rid of unused software frees up additional system resources and hard disk space. To uninstall software on a Windows PC, use the "Add/Remove Programs" function from the Control Panel.
* For better system performance avoid using shareware (or freeware) wallpaper, screensavers, and similar audio and visual apps. These will usually require extra system resources to run.

Antivirus Protection

* Install a virus scan program that automatically scans for viruses when the system boots.
* Once you have an antivirus program you will need to update the virus definitions daily to ensure your system is protected against the latest threats.
Do not download any files from the Internet unless you are certain the source is not transmitting a virus to you.
* Do not use any storage media that has been used in another computer unless you are certain the other computer is free of viruses and will not pass the virus on to your system.
* Never open e-mail attachments from people you don't know; and don't open any file attachment that ends in .exe., All downloaded files should be scanned by your anti-virus application before you run or install it.

speed up windows and access start up files

Warning Some of these methods require you to edit your system files, if you are not careful you could harm windows! I take no respsonsibilty and reccomend that you backup your files regulary.

MSDOS.SYS is a Hidden, Read-only, System Windows 95/98/ME file, located in the root folder (directory) of your boot drive (default is C:). If using DrvSpace (Microsoft "disk-doubler" utility) to compress your FAT16 hard drives/partitions, there is another MSDOS.SYS file located in the root folder of your compressed volume (default is H:). BOTH these files must be IDENTICAL to have your Windows 9x/ME computer boot properly with DrvSpace installed

Autoexec.bat is an Msdos batch file (located at C:autoexec.bat) that is processed before Windows starts. An Msdos batch file is just a list of dos commands on seperate lines. This means you can do many things with autoexec.bat, including running dos programs and executing commands

How to crack CD protection

Chapter I: About, Programs needed … etc.
Hrp! This tutorial is written by FANATIK, member of the #WAREZFRANCE CREW. It is thesecond part of my first tutorial: RiPPingTutorial, that explains all about RiPPing except how to crack the CDprotections… so here is the other part – how to finish the RiPPing by crackingthe protection. This will help you w/ the most basic system of protection,called C- dilla, that is the most usual one…The programs we will use are 2: first, and decompiler – the files we willwork with are in ExE format, and we need a program that will HeX them (transferto 16 base, hexa, form) and locate the orders given in the code, then we willfind the line we need and change it to remove the protection with... – thesecond program: we need a program that will *edit* the files, and fetch theright line number we got using the first program… all those action are easlydone w/ the programs: Win32Dasm (the disassembler - decompiler program, added inthe dir [root/Win32Dasm]), and Hiew (the editing program added in the dir[root/Hiew]). The programs are added to the tutorial, because I’m not so sureyou can find then on a stable location on the net, in the dir [root/programs].
Chapter II: The easy protection.
Okay! To save you from reading this entire tutorial for nothing you’re not goingto use I made this chapter, because there is a good chance you won’t be needingit! Some games comes w/ protection as a files in the [/Setup] dir (or rootdir) called: [00000001.TMP], [CLCD16.DLL], [CLCD32.DLL] and most important[CLOKSPL.EXE]... if you see any of them delete it and the protection shoulddisappear (Important! delete them after making a mirror of the game on your HD,using the info in the next chapter) … if you are still getting an error messagejust keep on reading.
Chapter III: Finding the right file – and the right error.
The files we are going to work w/ will be the main ExE of the game: you willfind it on the CD, in a dir called [/Setup] or [/data], but the easy way to findit is just installing the game, and the ExE that starts the game – will be theExE we need! ... once you’ve got it make some room on your HD, because we aregoing to copy the hole CD to it… before you do that: some games have am option,when Installing, to Install the full game to the CD (but still needing it toplay), use it if possible, The files you need to copy are all the game files,in some games it is the root dir of the CD, in others it is the [root/data] dir…the worst case is when the game is inside a CAB file, then you have to use a CABextractor (WinZip 8 should do the job), and if it is protected a differentprogram that can compile CAB format (I’ll try to put it on the tutorial aswell). Once you’ve done all that – press the ExE, and if the game opens close itand exit the CD, then press again- you will get an error window! … usually theline goes like: “Error, please enter CD to run game” or “CD error” or “Errorreading CD-ROM” .. what ever error you get – write it down and remember it, weare about to look for it in the ExE code, and change it!
Chapter IV: Finding the right line number.
Open the first program - Win32Dasm, by unzipping it and clicking on[/w32dsm89.exe], now we have to load the file we know is the main ExE of thegame, so click on “Disassembler“ in the main menu, then “Open File toDisassemble...” (Important! Make sure you got 50-100MB free on your HD) beforethen pick the file from the clone game dir you made in your HD (Important! makea backup of the ExE) … after you’ve success fully w8ed while the programdisassembled the file, you will see *a lot * of gibberish… don’t worry! Youdon’t have to understand what is says (I don’t, and I’m not so sure ne1 does…except the programs of course) … (Important! If you can’t read and the fontshows only numbers and bizarre letters, click on “Disassembler” in main menu,then “Font…” then “select Font” then pick Arial or something in English) … nowyou have to find the exact line number out of the 2 million in the file that hasthe error message in it, do that by clicking the “String Data references”button, from the buttons menu (under the main menu) – the second one from theright (-your right)… now you get a list of all the lines in the ExE that refersto actions, and you have narrowed the lines from 2 million – to 2 thousand… tofind the error message click the first letter it started w/ (for example, if themessage was “Error reading CD-ROM” click E) then search ‘till you find theerror line you are looking for! … once you’ve found it… it will mark the title,pick the first line, and it should change color to green (that means the linecan be edited and is important)… to be sure you have taken the right line: ifthere is a line like:“:0044XBCK EB08 ….. (lots of spaces) …. Jmp 0044EBD8” or:“:0044XBCK EB08 ….. (lots of spaces) …. Call 0044EBD8” or:“:0044XBCK EB08 ….. (lots of spaces) …. Push 0044EBD8”you at the right line, it says the command is a function, effected by the user,and probably the protection we are looking for (notice the words: Jmp = Jamp,Call = Call, Push = Push)… now that we got the right line we have to find hernumber! That is done by looking at the bottom of the program window and in theline, that should look similar to this one:“Line:*** Pg *** of *** Code Data @:0045821 @Offset 00045821h in file:***.exe“notic the number that comes after the word „Offet“ in this line: 00045821h thatis the line number! But notice the letter „h“ at the end of it – you don’t needit, and don’t forget to remove it from the number, now – the only thing left todo is changing the line and removing the protection!
Chapter V: Editing the line.
After writing down the line number you can minimize Win32Dasm, because for nowwe have finished using it. Open the second program: Hiew (added in thetutorial), this is an editor that will work bad for searching the right line,but will do if you know the line number and just wanna change it…Open again the same game ExE you have processed in Win32Dasm. When you enter yousee a lot of gibberish, that’s the code, and you need to change it to thedecoded language… do that by pressing the F4 key and then pick the option“Decode“ .. heh! Alot better now... now click F5 key, to search the right line,you will see the line numbers at the left end of the screen is gray, enter theline number you got from Win32Dasm and it will jump you to the right loction inthe file... now, this is the difficult part, not hard to do – but hard toexplain, near the line number (just at the right) you will see the command inHeX form, it should be something like BC1BB3D2D1 that is in HeX code (base 16)which means a number (=byte) is represented by 2 letters/number, so that thegroup (BC1BB3D2D1) is made of 5 bytes: BC – 1B – B3 – D2 – D1 ... (10 numbers =5 bytes, 8 numbers = 4 bytes and so on...), we are about to change evrey bytefrom D1 or BC to 90 this is done by pressing the key F3 (activates Editingoption) and pressing, for every byte, the number 90 (90 is the noop number, thatwill disable the action)... and in our case, the command will change fromBC1BB3D2D1 to 9090909090 ... once it is done click the key F10 to save theoffset, and exit.
Chapter VI: Testing.
Now that you have an ExE w/out the error line, activate it from the same clonedir of the game you made to test it, if its working – congratulation! You havejust cracked a CD protection! … if you are getting another error message redothe same steps you have do w/ the first error message (in chapters 3-5) tochange it as well (Important! Do it on the same ExE you have edited, and backupthis one as well) and then test it again. You might be needed to do it severalnumber of times, until you are getting no error message and the game runs!
Chapter VII: Quick order list.- Start without Cd then look at the error message and write it down.- Search the msg in Win32Dasm referance and copy nmber w/out the H at the end!.- Open Hiew, F4 to Decode, F5 to seach the line, and change the command – 90 forevery 1 byte.- F10 to save and then get out, don’t forget to test!
